You greet Ukrainian Christian evangelic church Emmanuel of Kiev City, Ukraine.
We are a very young church, which was formed of the home group.
All began with two people, who came to Victor and Tatyana Yakimenko for praying and praising our Lord , who were at that time only students of the seminary.
The church started the first Sunday service on 29 June 2003. This is a wonderful day for us.
Now we are the church of 30 people.
We confess apostolic Creed; we are open to communication with all sensible Christian
Confessions.
The vision of our church can convey with Jesus words: By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another (John 13:35)
God gives to our church through pastor Victor Yakimenko deep, penetrating into peoples heart, sermons; because of them people find strength to overcome sinful pressure of this world and to live
holy, devoted to Jesus Christ, life.
The church has strong leaders, who lead five home groups.
Because of well chosen and efficient programs, every person in the church has got high spiritual level.
Our youth group, at the head with leader Ruslan Martinez after learning three books
Growth in Christ (Following Jesus, Face to face with God, Jesus is my Lord) has
passionate desire to bring people to Christ and now they are learning the book Share with your faith.
The family course Marriage without compunction (inductive studying of the Bible), which is taught by Tatyana Yakimenko, helps families to find happiness of staying in Gods will
(Most families in our church all together visit the church and study this course ).
Pastor Victor Petrovich Yakimenko, graduate of the Kiev Theological Seminary Grace and Truth,
a Master of theology, cooperate with Ukrainian Family Institute, where he gains an experience of
christian consulting, which gives the church the possibility to help people with incredibly difficult
problems.
There is a Children Sunday school in our church and potential for developing a big children service.
Particular in our church is that we love to sing most of all glory and praise to the Lord.
